Rosendahl’s in the Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Councilmember Bill Rosendahl arrived at City Hall in style this morning, courtesy of a Yellow Cab… painted pink.

Photographers were on hand and passersby stopped in their tracks when 11th District Councilmember Bill Rosendahl stepped out of a pink taxi this morning in front of City Hall.

Rosendahl, together with Councilmember Jan Perry and City Controller Wendy Greuel each took a rose-colored cab to work this morning to support the American Cancer Society and to promote National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Yellow Cab, Fiesta Taxi and United Checker Cab have painted one cab from each of their fleets pink for the month of October. For every person who rides in the pink cabs, the taxi companies will donate $1 from each fare to the American Cancer Society.
