State Of Homelessness Town Hall Planned For Thursday

LA County residents are invited to join the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority for a town hall on the efforts to end homelessness.

VENICE, CA — The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority will host a virtual town hall Thursday night on the efforts to end homelessness.

The group plans to provide an update on the COVID-19 response, the rehousing system, and a Q&A discussion about 2020 performance and goals for 2021.

Register to join the virtual event, which starts at 6 p.m. Thursday. People can also submit questions before the town hall.

LAHSA is a joint powers authority of the city and county of Los Angeles, created in 1993 to address homelessness in Los Angeles County. LAHSA is the lead agency in the HUD-funded Los Angeles Continuum of Care, and coordinates and manages nearly $660 million annually in federal, state, county, and city funds for programs providing shelter, housing, and services to people experiencing homelessness.
