Suspect In Fatal Venice Shooting Unknown; Police Seek Public Help
Police are asking the public to identify a suspect or suspects involved in a fatal shooting near a transitional housing facility in Venice.
VENICE, CA — Los Angeles police this week are asking the public to help identify a suspect or suspects involved in a fatal shooting near a transitional housing facility in Venice Friday.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting near a bus stop at Main Street and Sunset Avenue about 1:10 a.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. They found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim’s identification was withheld pending notification to next of kin.
