Venice Pier Shooting: Police Continue To Search For Suspect

Police are looking for a suspect who shot two 25-year-old women at Venice Pier Saturday night.

VENICE, CA — Police are still searching for a man suspected of shooting two women near the Venice Fishing Pier Saturday night.

The suspect shot two 25-year-old women, both who were taken to a hospital and recovering in stable condition Sunday.

The shooting happened in the 3100 block of Oceanfront Walk, near the pier, about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Los Angeles Police from the Pacific Division, who were continuing the investigation.

The victims were apparently arguing with the suspect in front of a building before the shooting began. Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s and he remains at-large.

No suspect description was available, police told Patch.
