• Three people arrested in Vista DUI checkpoint (thecoastnews.com) — A recent DUI checkpoint on East Vista Way in Vista led to three arrests, a dozen citations for unlicensed driving, and three impounded vehicles. Deputies are urging residents to plan sober rides, avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or marijuana, and use taxis, rideshares, or transit while celebrating the holidays.
