The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop, located next to the Park Theater in Lafayette, invite you to shop early for your Fourth of July needs. On Tuesday, June 24, at 10 am, the door will open to a cavalcade of national pride. Decorate your living space with colors that evoke historical significance.

Specifically, the American flag offers a wealth of symbolism. The white stars in the upper left corner of the flag symbolize the fifty states of the Union. The blue background symbolizes vigilance, perseverance, and justice. The red stripes on the remainder of the flag symbolize hardiness and valor; the white stripes, purity and innocence.

A return visit is called for on Tuesday, July 15, when inventory throughout the entire shop will be priced at 50% off. Where else would you have the opportunity to save money twice?
