Author To Bring Dirt On Tahoe To Flashlight Books In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA — "The Dirt Around Lake Tahoe: Must-Do Scenic Hikes" takes readers on a journey to dozens of trails throughout the Lake Tahoe Basin and beyond. Alpine lakes, wilderness peaks and waterfalls are the rewards.

Author Kathryn Reed, who has either been living at Lake Tahoe or visiting the area since she was a child, has done each of the 40 hikes in the book.

Reed will be giving a free reading from her book on Sept. 7 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Flashlight Books located at 1537 North Main Street in Walnut Creek where signed copies will be available for $15, (cash only).
