Trains run from 6 a.m. until midnight, and service on the Yellow Line is less frequent, offered every 20 minutes. All five BART lines run from opening until around 9 p.m., and three-line service from around 9 p.m. until the nd of service.

MLK Day is also a parking holiday, meaning parking is free at all stations except for Milpitas and Berryessa/North San Jose, which the Valley Transportation Authority operates.

ORIGINAL POST:

There will be no BART service this weekend between Walnut Creek and Concord this weekend.

Track work is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday to replace decades-old components necessary for continued, reliable service.

To allow this work to happen efficiently and safely, riders must exit their train and take a free bus between the Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre and Concord stations.

Riders can expect 20-30 minute delays in the work area.
