The Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, is a universal symbol of hope and renewal. Across the world, diverse cultures celebrate this return of light through traditions such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and the Festival of Lights. At our gathering, we’ll weave together these themes of illumination with grounding meditation, Shamanic drumming, the lighting of candles, and heartfelt opportunities for reflection and sharing.

Guiding us is Deer Mother, a timeless figure celebrated across cultures for carrying the sun’s light in her antlers and heralding the return of brighter days. Her wisdom reminds us to embrace the light within the darkness and to carry hope as we journey toward renewal.
