Sunday, December 21, 2025, Sufism Reoriented will host Upon
a Midnight Clear, a choral holiday concert filled with songs and
stories Celebrating
the Light. This festive evening will also feature warm drinks, sweet treats,
and a living nativity scene with live animals.
Doors will be
open from 4:30 to 7:00 pm—come when you can and stay as long as you like. All
are welcome to this free event!
Guest parking
is available on site. To help avoid bottlenecks, please follow the monitors’
directions and continue moving until they guide you into a space. Overflow
parking is located one block away at 1326 Boulevard Way. Walking or carpooling
is encouraged.
Please refrain
from parking in front of our neighbors’ homes. Thank you!

<h3>Honoring the Light Within the Darkness</h3><h3> </h3><h3>This special evening will honor the seasonal shift with grounding meditation, Shamanic journey, crystal bowl sound healing, sacred ritual, and meaningful time for reflection. Together, we’ll embrace the light within the darkness and create space to move into the new year with intention.</h3>
 The Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, is a universal symbol of hope and renewal. Across the world, diverse cultures celebrate this return of light through traditions such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and the Festival of Lights. At our gathering, we’ll weave together these themes of illumination with grounding meditation, Shamanic drumming, the lighting of candles, and heartfelt opportunities for reflection and sharing.
Guiding us is Deer Mother, a timeless figure celebrated across cultures for carrying the sun’s light in her antlers and heralding the return of brighter days. Her wisdom reminds us to embrace the light within the darkness and to carry hope as we journey toward renewal.
Whether you are new to this tradition or a returning participant, you are warmly invited to join our circle as we create a sacred space to honor this season’s magic and step into the holidays with meaning and intention.<h3>Elements of the Evening</h3>
