Central San Seeks Board Member For Walnut Creek Area
The vacancy in the Division 3 seat representing the Walnut Creek area follows the recent passing of Board Member David R. Williams.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) Board of Directors is seeking to appoint someone to fill a vacancy on the five-seat board.
Board Member and Past President David R. Williams died March 1, leaving his seat open. Williams held the Division 3 seat, which represents the Walnut Creek area.

- At least 18 years old by the day of appointment;
- A citizen of the United States;
- A registered voter;
- Eligible to take the oath of office;
- A resident of Division 3 (a map is available at this link)
Applications are being accepted until 5 p.m. March 27.

The Division 3 director’s seat will be placed on the ballot for the November 2024 general election.
The newly appointed director will hold the office until the general election results are certified.
