Central San Seeks Board Member For Walnut Creek Area

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) Board of Directors is seeking to appoint someone to fill a vacancy on the five-seat board.

Board Member and Past President David R. Williams died March 1, leaving his seat open. Williams held the Division 3 seat, which represents the Walnut Creek area.

To be considered for the position, an applicant must be:

• At least 18 years old by the day of appointment;
• A citizen of the United States;
• A registered voter;
• Eligible to take the oath of office;
• A resident of Division 3 (a map is available at this link)

Applications are being accepted until 5 p.m. March 27.
