WALNUT CREEK — If learning more about the city’s plans for a new community center — one of the largest construction projects in recent years — is on your to-do list, an event on Sept. 9 is the place to do it.
The Walnut Creek Main Library is host to a breakfast where the conversation will be focused on the future of the Heather Farm Community Center.
Walnut Creek city officials, councilmembers, and the project's the architectural team will share updates, with a focus on the sustainability challenges and opportunities being addressed during planning and construction.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sept. 9 on the 2nd floor of the Walnut Creek Main Library, 1644 North Broadway, Walnut Creek.
