East Bay Tesla Vandal Arrested: Police

The Concord man vandalized multiple Teslas in Walnut Creek, police said.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A Concord man was recently arrested for vandalizing Teslas in Walnut Creek, according to police.

Steven Grubka, 60, was arrested after detectives obtained a warrant July 9 to take him into custody on suspicion of felony vandalism, police said.

Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. June 13 to the 100 block of North Wiget Lane for a report of vandalism to multiple Tesla vehicles, according to police, who said that a photograph of Grubka was shared on social media and the man was identified with the community’s help.
