• Series of Earthquakes Strike San Ramon Friday Night (contracosta.news) — Residents in Walnut Creek felt a series of earthquakes Friday night, including a 4.0 magnitude quake centered near San Ramon that shook much of Contra Costa County. Dozens of smaller quakes followed into early Saturday, and BART briefly slowed trains for safety inspections, causing systemwide delays of up to 20 minutes.
