Ethan Allen Walnut Creek To Celebrate Grand Reopening
This Ethan Allen store was in Concord for 30-some years but moved to Walnut Creek in 2022. Now it's celebrating "classic styles revamped."

WALNUT CREEK, CA —Ethan Allen in Walnut Creek is holding a grand reopening ceremony Saturday.
The Ethan Allen store was in Concord for 30-plus years but in April 2022, moved to 1450 Mount Diablo Blvd. in Walnut Creek — the former home of H&M and before that, Eddie Bauer.
"It has been a great transition to become an interior design destination," said Nick Caputo, who oversees three Ethan Allen locations as the market design leader for San Francisco South.

Saturday, Caputo invites former customers and new customers to stop in for some hors d'oeuvres and refreshments between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the grand reopening.

"We've done a revamp of our classic stylings," Caputo told Patch. "Each one of our stores is doing a grand reopening for our newest assortment."

Ethan Allen = Interior Design Destination
For the past few weeks, Ethan Allen has been hosting the grand reopening celebrations at design centers nationwide as part of a series of events unveiling the company’s reinvention as the Interior Design Destination. Each ribbon-cutting offers guests a chance to peruse new products, meet each location’s interior designers and experience the newly refreshed and reimagined design center.
Farooq Kathwari, chairman, president and CEO of Ethan Allen since the 1980s, personally attended events in New York City and Marlton, New Jersey.

"We are celebrating our 91st year and have always focused on the concept of constant reinvention," Kathwari said in a news release. "We have made major investments in technology in all areas, most recently empowering our interior designers to work with clients by combining personal service and technology."
Over the next few months, grand reopening events will continue to roll out. Images from each celebration will be featured at www.ethanallen.com/grandreopenings.
"We are proud to celebrate our culture of constant reinvention, excited to start the next phase of Ethan Allen’s journey, and pleased to welcome both present and future clients to the Interior Design Destination," Kathwari said.
