Here's How Low The Temp Will Dip In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A frost advisory issued by the National Weather Service was forecast to remain effective until 10 a.m. Wednesday for the East Bay.

Temperatures in the upper 20s to the middle 30s were expected to result in hazardous conditions for unsheltered populations and those without access to adequate heating, the weather service said.

"Cold conditions will be hazardous to sensitive populations such as unhoused individuals," the National Weather Service said. "Cold Conditions can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Take steps now to protect tender people, pets, pipes and plants from the cold."

As most of the Bay Area, from the interior East Bay to Santa Clara Valley, the eastern Santa Clara Hills, the northern Salinas Valley, the Hollister Valley, interior Monterey and San Benito counties, and the Santa Lucia range, went under the frost advisory, the National Weather Service said a freeze warning would be effective for North Bay valleys and Southern Salinas Valley.
