Walnut Creek Police Seek To ID This Person Of Interest; Do You Recognize Her?

The woman shown in the pictures is sought in connection with the theft of a purse from a 91-year-old woman at a care home.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Police Department asked for the public's help to identify a woman suspected in a theft at a local care home.

Around 11 a.m. April 13, the person shown in the above photos provided by police entered a care facility located at 1700 Tice Valley Boulevard, police said in a Facebook post.

"She walked through the facility and is suspected of stealing a 91-year-old resident’s purse from their room," Walnut Creek police said.

Police asked anyone who recognizes to call Detective Gonzales at 925-943-5899, ext 7623. Callers can remain anonymous by leaving a message on the department's tip line at 925-943-5865.
