City Council, School Board Seats: Walnut Creek Election Results
Voters have had their say on Walnut Creek local races.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek had three City Council Members to pick from among five candidates on Tuesday. By 10 p.m., the front-runners were Cindy Darling, Kevin Wilk, and Craig Devinney.
There were also two clear front-runners for the Acalanes Union High School District board.
See all the leaders below. Keep in mind that more vote-by-mail ballots will arrive and be counted in the days ahead, which could impact the outcome.

As of September, the California Secretary of State reported that 22,310,352 Californians were registered to vote, which accounts for almost 82.92 percent of the state's eligible voting population.
As of Sept. 6, 714,337 residents in Contra Costa County were registered to vote—nearly 90 percent of all eligible voters. Of those registered, 53.16 percent were Democrats, and 18.86 percent were Republicans, a slight rise from 18.31 percent in 2022.
Contra Costa County has the seventh-highest percentage of Democrats in the state, behind San Francisco, Marin, Santa Cruz, Alameda, Sonoma and San Mateo counties.
