Police were able to get a description of the suspect vehicle from several 911 callers, according to reports.
CHP found the suspect vehicle crashed in the center divide of Interstate 680 near Olympic Boulevard in Walnut Creek, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

CHP told reporters the suspect vehicle crashed after 4 p.m. in the center divide of Interstate 680 near Olympic Boulevard in the Walnut Creek area. Police then detained the suspect.
The shooting investigation and crash significantly shut down traffic in the area, with all lanes of Highway 24 at Highway 13 temporarily closed.
