Suspected Serial Rapist Arrested; Walnut Creek Police Say More Victims Possible

Police allege the man committed multiple rapes in recent years, and investigators believe more victims could be out there.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A 35-year-old Walnut Creek man was recently arrested on suspicion of multiple rape cases over the past few years, the Walnut Creek Police Department announced Saturday.

Police identified Brandon Delliquadri as a suspect in multiple sexual assaults, and believe more victims could be out there.

Police arrested Delliquadri July 7 on suspicion of four rapes and one rape of an unconscious person after investigations from WCPD detectives and officers.

As of Monday, he remained in custody at Contra Costa County jail in Martinez where his bail was set at $4.5 million. He is due in court Aug. 24.

Police believe there may be other victims who were assaulted by Delliquadri.

"Due to the nature of the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the case, we believe there may be other individuals who may have been sexually assaulted by the same suspect," Walnut Creek police Lt. Holley Connors said.

"We understand that it can be challenging for victims to come forward," Connors said.
