WALNUT CREEK, CA — The city of Walnut Creek issued a traffic advisory for Tuesday afternoon at Ygnacio Valley Road and Wimbledon Road.

Traffic congestion is expected because of a large event. The public was advised to avoid the roadways from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and again from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

"Take alternate routes and leave extra time to get to your destination," Walnut Creek police said.
