Wildfire Burns On Ygnacio Valley Road: Con Fire
The blaze broke out near the border of Walnut Creek and Concord.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was on the scene Monday of a vegetation fire in the Concord and Walnut Creek area.
The fire broke out shortly after 3 p.m. at Ygnacio Valley Road and Cowell Road and was approximately 5 acres in size.
As of 4:37 p.m., the forward progress of the blaze had been stopped.
