Woman, 19, Arrested In Walnut Creek; Faces Machine Gun Charge
The DA's Office charged Romajane Hill with four felonies, including possession of a machine gun and possession of a large-capacity magazine.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A 19-year-old Sacramento woman faces multiple gun-related charges following her arrest in connection with a recent theft in Walnut Creek, police said.
Romajane Prestige Hill came to the attention of the Walnut Creek Police Department on July 27 when officers responded to reports of a theft in progress at a store in Broadway Plaza, WCPD Lt. Holley Connors said.
Hill and two other female suspects were detained in the theft.

Upon further investigation, officers found Hill in possession of a stolen handgun that was modified from a semi-automatic pistol to a fully automatic pistol and had a 30-round extended magazine, Connors said.
Hill was arrested and booked into the Contra Costa County jail in Martinez.

On July 31, the District Attorney's Office charged Hill with four felonies: possession of a machine gun, possession of a large capacity magazine, carrying a loaded firearm on one’s person and having a concealed firearm on one’s person.
Hill was being held on $220,000 bail but was released Aug. 1 when she posted a bail bond, jail records showed.
