Yardbird Opening In Walnut Creek As Company's First Bay Area Showroom

The premium outdoor furniture company announced a spring opening at its showroom on North Broadway in Walnut Creek.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Just in time for patio season, Yardbird, a premium outdoor furniture company, is bringing its first showroom to the San Francisco Bay Area.

As the first showroom opening in California and the 19th across the country, Yardbird San Francisco, at 1406 N. Broadway in Walnut Creek, provides local residents with collections of premium outdoor furniture and accessories, including everything from outdoor dining sets to couches and loveseats to fire tables, throw pillows and more.

At the showroom, visitors can get access to one-on-one advice from an in-house designer to help them find the perfect outdoor furniture for their space.

"Yardbird is the perfect addition to Best Buy, especially for customers who are already coming to us to improve their outdoor living spaces," said Blake Hampton, category officer at Best Buy. "We’re thrilled to introduce Yardbird to these new cities and offer more customers a place to come see the latest in outdoor furniture and get expert advice while they shop."

Yardbird makes its products with the environment in mind, company officials said in a news release. Plastic that would have otherwise ended up in the ocean is used in select furniture pieces. Yardbird partners with carbonfund.org to offset its carbon footprint; reduces the number of packaging materials; and uses recyclable packing materials whenever possible.

"We love showing customers what Yardbird is all about," said Jay Dillon, co-founder of Yardbird. "By nearly doubling the number of showrooms, we’re able to showcase exactly what sets us apart from other outdoor furniture companies. We are excited to grow the Yardbird brand and reach more people who are looking for high-quality products for their home."
