Got Something to Say about Poverty in Watsonville?

If you've got an opinion on local poverty, Wednesday night is the time to be heard.

The Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County is holding a public hearing on its Anti-Poverty Plan for 2014/2015 at the YWCA of Watsonville (340 E Beach St.) at 7 p.m.

"All concerned individuals and groups are invited to share their opinions, information and experiences as well as provide evaluative comments on current CAB programs," the organization said in an email. "This is your opportunity to voice your experiences, concerns and priorities for overcoming the effects of poverty in Santa Cruz County."

Spanish translation will be available at the meeting for those who need it.
