Man Arrested In Watsonville Attempted Murder Case, Police Say

The stabbing victim was hospitalized and has since recovered.

WATSONVILLE, CA — The Watsonville Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a Nov. 30 stabbing in the city.

Angel Fernandez, 24, is facing felony charges of second-degree murder and violating probation, jail records show. He is accused of stabbing a 21-year-old near Marantha Drive, police said.

Police believe the stabbing followed a personal argument.

The victim was hospitalized in critical condition, but he has since recovered.
