• Sundown glow at Cabrillo College Watsonville Center (santacruzsentinel.com) — Cabrillo College’s Watsonville Center is highlighted as a key way for Pajaro Valley residents to earn college credits and job skills close to home. The story notes its history from classes at Watsonville High to today’s full slate of transfer, ESL, and career programs that make higher education more accessible locally. 
• Capitola, Watsonville GameStop stores closing (fresnobee.com) — Watsonville’s Main Street GameStop will close Jan. 15, ending one of the city’s few dedicated video game retailers and pushing customers to Salinas or San Jose for the nearest locations. Local shop Game Vault, which also has a Watsonville store, expects to pick up some business but can’t fully replace GameStop’s services, especially trading-card grading options.
