Roger's Diner Robbed by Armed Men

Watsonville police are looking for two men who robbed Roger's Diner in Freedom Sunday night and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 9:22 p.m., two masked men entered the business at 11 Green Valley Rd. One man was armed with either a rifle or shotgun, while the other approached the cashier and demanded money.

According to police, the unarmed man reached over the counter and crabbed the entire cash drawer. Both suspects then ran out and fled in an a older four-door silver sedan, driving away east on Green Valley Road.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
