Sheriff's Reports: Expensive Water Measuring Devices Stolen from City

Also, deputies discovered methamphetamine when they were called to a report of a boyfriend hitting his girlfriend at Pinto Lake County Park last weekend.

Domestic Violence: Deputies were called to Pinto Lake County Park for a report of a man hitting a woman around 4:30 p.m. She said her boyfriend of one year hit her in the face while holding a burrito. Deputies also found a white baggie of methamphetamine. The boyfriend was arrested.

Vandalism: The rear window of a car was smashed at a Freedom Boulevard apartment complex. 

May 24
Warrants: A man driving on Pioneer View Road was pulled over. He didn't have a valid license and his passenger was wanted.

Vandalism: Two vehicles parked on the 400 block of Quinta were damaged.

May 23
Commercial Burglary: A thief got into the Watsonville Water Department building through an unlocked window and stole water measuring devices worth $2,000. The building is on Eureka Canyon Road.

Vandalism: A mailbox was knocked off its post on the 400 block of Green Valley Road. There also was a backpack discarded on the back patio of the house.

Vandalism: A man scratched a vehicle after his ex-mother-in-law wouldn't let him see his children. Then he fled. It happened on La Casa Court.
