Watsonville Population Ticked Up in 2012
Santa Cruz County as a whole grew by about 1,300 people last year.
Data released this month by the California Department of Finance shows that Santa Cruz County grew slightly in population in 2012, as did Watsonville, growing 0.2 percent from 51,484 up to 51,612 people.
