• Construction accelerates in West Sacramento's Bridge District with major waterfront projects underway (abc10.com) — Major construction in West Sacramento’s Bridge District is rapidly adding hundreds of homes, new offices, and a resort-style riverfront pool and fitness center near Drake’s: The Barn. Developers are pushing ahead with the Pierside mixed-use complex, affordable housing, and a future life science campus, aiming to turn the riverfront into a restaurant- and event-filled destination as the A’s temporarily play at Sutter Health Park. 
• What changes are coming to Sutter Health Park for 2026? (mlb.com) — If you’re heading to A’s games in West Sacramento next season, expect some noticeable upgrades at Sutter Health Park, including a new field and enhanced batting cages. The team is also adding private rooms off both dugouts so pitchers can regroup between innings, hoping to turn last year’s home struggles into a stronger 2026 showing.
• Yolo County partnership awarded grant for affordable housing community (dailydemocrat.com) — A major state grant will fund a new affordable, transit-oriented housing community in Woodland and boost Yolobus service linking Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento, downtown Sacramento and the airport. The project adds zero-emission buses, sidewalks, bike lanes, and long-term free transit passes for residents, while West Sacramento also secures AHSC funding for its own affordable housing efforts.
