Outgoing CEO for L.A. County Endorses Kuehl for Supervisor

William Fujioka is retiring after 40 years, but before he heads out the door, he wants a say in the race for the Third District.

Los Angeles County Chief Executive Officer William Fujioka today endorsed Sheila Kuehl for county supervisor.

Fujioka will be retiring in November after 40 years of public service. As he leaves office, he wants to be sure that “the county’s finances are left in good hands and that it continues to practice the sound fiscal policies which have allowed the county to weather the recession,” he said, adding that this is why he’s endorsing Kuehl.

“I trust Sheila Kuehl to be a powerful and effective voice for sound fiscal and budgetary practices,” he said.
