WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Nearly 150 Southern California Edison customers in West Hollywood are without power Friday after metallic balloons became tangled in power lines, the utility announced. The tangled balloons caused a transformer to explode around 8:30 p.m. Thursday near Sweetzer and Fountain avenues, knocking out power in the area to 500 customers, ABC7 reported. Tangled Balloons Cause West Hollywood Power Outage

Tangled balloons got tied up in some power lines causing a transformer to explode and knocking out power to 150 customers in West Hollywood.
