Woman Stabbed In Early-Morning West Hollywood Fight
A woman was in critical condition after the early-morning stabbing.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A woman in her 20s is in critical condition Sunday after being stabbed during a fight in West Hollywood, authorities said.
At about 3 a.m. Sunday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's West Hollywood station received a call of a fight in the 8900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near San Vicente Boulevard. Deputies dispatched to the scene, which was updated to an "assault with deadly weapon, stabbing victim" call, located a woman suffering from a stab wound to the upper body, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

"The fight involved several people and at this time, there is no suspect information to release," sheriff's officials said. "Homicide investigators were not notified of the incident until 8:00 a.m. due to the severity of the victim's injuries."
