• Sheriff's officials seek public help solving South L.A. fatal shooting (audacy.com) — Sheriff’s officials are asking Westmont-area residents for tips about a deadly 2024 car-to-car shooting near the 105 Freeway and Vermont Avenue that killed 22-year-old student Raejonette Morgan. Detectives just increased the reward to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction, and they’re urging anyone who saw a distinctive blue Honda Civic that night to come forward.
