San Fernando Valley Male Chorus Holiday Show

The San Fernando Valley Male Chorus is presenting a Holiday show on Saturday Dec. 8 at 7:30 PM at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, which is located at 23838 Kittridge Street in West Hills. The show will feature Holiday music, both religious and secular. An audience sing along is included and will be a lot of fun.

The Chorus has been singing in and around the San Fernando Valley for over 50 years. A non-profit corporation since 1969, the Chorus was organized in 1957. With no political or religious affiliations; the Chorus has had bricklayers, barbers, doctors and engineers as members all with one common bond . . . a love of music and the sound of four-part male harmony.

Over the years the chorus has sung for many directors including Jack Halloran, music director for the Dean Martin television show and Shelly Cohen, musical director for the Johnny Carson Show. The current Director is Matthew Park, who has worked for the last 20 years, as both a musician and director for various choirs and musical theater groups in Europe, Asia, and Southern California.
