Woodland Hills Easter Egg Hunts

Here are some family-friendly events taking place in and near Woodland Hills Saturday.

In addition to the Easter Weekend at the Farm event happening at Pierce College's Farm Center we told you about earlier this week, there is plenty of Easter-themed fun to be had nearby. Here are a few of the events taking place today:

Calabasas EGGstravaganza—10 a.m. to noon at Grape Arbor Park, corner of Canwood Street and Parkville Road, Calabasas. Activities: free age group egg hunts and petting zoo; candy, crafts, games, prizes. Photos with the Easter bunny are $5. Bring your own baskets to collect eggs.

Easter Hoppening—11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. Activities: Free Easter egg hunt at noon for children 1 through 10, adult egg hunt following the children's hunt, bounce houses ($1), photos with the Easter bunny, face painting, food trucks, and more.

Easter Weekend on the Farm—9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Pierce College's Farm Center at 20800 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills. Activities: Scavenger hunt, Easter crafts, egg painting, animal farm and pony rides. Admission is $6, children under 3 are free.

Giant Community Easter Egg Hunt—10:30 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran, 8520 Winnetka Ave., Winnetka. Activities: Children in sixth grade and younger are invited to find more than 2,500 eggs; gift basket drawings, music and lunch. Everything is free. Organizers advise coming early, as more than 300 children attend the event annually, according to Zvents.com.

Spring Egg Hunt and Arts and Crafts Show—9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mae Boyar Park, 130 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park. Activities: Age-divided egg hunts, adult egg throw, inflatables, slides, train, and a mini Ferris wheel plus vendor booths with items for adults and children and food.
