Learn About Adoption and Foster Parenting

Adults interested in learning about adoption or fostering children can learn more about the process Sunday at an event hosted by Kidsave, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family services.

Though Sunday is St. Patrick's Day, Kidsave—whose mission is to create change so forgotten orphanage and foster kids grow up in families and connect to caring adults—will host a Mardi Gras-themed event with carnival games, arts and crafter and lunch with foster youths aged 9-17.

First, though, new famiies must attend an orientation from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The event will take place at Matrix Estetica Salon at 5303 Comercio Way.
