Man Shot, Robbed In Woodland Hills Motel Room

A man was hospitalized Saturday after he was shot and robbed in a Woodland Hills motel room with a woman now considered a suspect.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — A man was hospitalized Saturday after he was shot and robbed in a Woodland Hills motel room with a woman now considered a suspect.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called at approximately 11 p.m. Friday to the Best Western Woodland Hills Inn at 21830 Ventura Blvd., east of Don Pio Drive.

When they arrived, they learned the victim was in a room with an unidentified woman. Witnesses said another man in his 40s entered the room and began arguing with the victim and demanding his property, an LAPD spokeswoman told City News Service.

The suspect shot at the victim, took property from the room, ran to a vehicle and drove away in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, where he had stable vital signs, according to LAPD Officer Tony Im.

The woman had stepped outside the room allowing the male suspect to get inside, Im said. She fled with the man and police were searching for both of them.
