Reminder: Pierce Hosts Garcetti for 'Day of Politics 2'

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti will be on the Pierce College campus for a question and answer session Thursday afternoon.

The school's 'Day of Politics 2' is free and open to community members and will also feature the opportunity to register to vote.

According to Pierce professor Denise Robb, who organized the event, Wendy Greuel, who is opposing Garcetti, was also invited to participate in the event but calls to her campaign to confirm had been unreturned.

The event runs from 4 to 5 p.m. at the school's Great Hall. Parking on campus will be free.
