Universities Honor Woodland Hills Students

A number of students from Woodland Hills have made deans and merit lists at their schools.

The following college students who hail from Woodland Hills have recently been named to academic achievement lists at their respective universities and colleges:

Ahmed Akbar made the academic dean's list at Azusa Pacific University.

Brooke Berka was named to the Miami University dean's list. Students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2012-2013 have been named to the list.

Samantha Lavin was named to the dean's list at Washington University in St. Louis. To qualify for the dean's list in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units. Lavin is enrolled in the university's John M. Olin School of Business.

Raquel Reyes was named to dean's list at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the list.

As well, Jacqueline Hammar, Marina Hedroj and Tawni Rose graduated with bachelor of arts degrees from California Lutheran University.
