Authorities logged 40 significant crimes within a two-mile radius of Topanga Canyon and Ventura boulevards April 8-14. Check below for a break-down of what happened.

Last week, from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14, there were 40 crimes committed within a two mile radius of Topanga Canyon and Ventura boulevards in Woodland Hills, according to police reports on crimemapping.com. The number is up from the previous week's 26 crimes.
The crime statistics from the week break down like this:
- 19 cases of petty theft (theft—including shoplifting—of a value of less than $950)
- 3 grand thefts (theft of a value of $950.01 or more)
- 4 burglaries (entry of a structure with the intent to commit theft or a felony) and one attempted burglary
- 1 robbery (taking property of another by menace of force or fear)
- 12 thefts from a vehicle
- 1 assault
