Whole Foods to Host 5-Course Dinner Event

The store's first such dinner will take place May 2.

The Woodland Hills Whole Foods Market will host its first-ever dinner early next month and is accepting reservations now.

The five-course meal will be prepared by the store's Chef Martin and the courses will be paired with wine, which means participants must be at least 21.

The cost is $29.99 per person and reservations can be made with the customer service desk at the store. Prepayment is required.

The menu is as follows:

First Course: Smoked White Fish with Microgreens Maché and a Orange Citrus Vinaigrette paired with Champagne Devaux Cuvée “D”

Second Course: Mussels Poached in a Wine Saffron Cream Sauce with Dill Butter Crostini paired with Domaine Eugene Carrel Jongieux

Third Course: Duck Confit on a Garlic Brioché Crostini with Red Onions and a Blackberry Cream paired with Hedges Red Mountain

Main Course: Braised Beef Short Ribs with Red Wine Fire Roasted Tomatoes and Spices on a Vegetable Root Mash paired with Jeff Runquist Petit Sirah

Dessert Course: Pear and Philo Tower with Honey Candied Walnuts and a Blue Cheese Citrus Zest paired with Tabali Late Harvest Muscat
