Woodland Hills Week in Review: Hikers in Distress, Rec. Center Renovations

• Not one, but two hikers were rescued on Castle Peak this week, one on Thursday and one on Saturday. If you're thinking about going on a hike, be aware that ticks in the Santa Monica Mountains have tested positive for Lyme Disease. • Speaking of Parks and Rec., there was a community meeting this week to provide an update and get input about the Woodland Hills Recreation renovation. The big news was a new pool will be part of the project.
