- A woman was found dead in a Woodland Hills home on Thursday night. Her daughter was arrested in Oregon on Friday, as the suspected shooter, according to authorities.

- A North Hills women suspected of child pornography and sex trafficking-related crimes was indicted on four counts this week: conspiracy to produce child pornography, production of child pornography, conspiracy to engage in child sex trafficking and sex trafficking of children.
- Woodland Hills' State Senate representative, Fran Pavley, introduced legislation that would require counties to designate certain state higher education campuses as their own elections precints. Pierce College, however, would not be included in the edict.
