Woodland Hills Whole Foods Supports Boys & Girls Club

The store will donate five percent of today's sales to the West Valley Club.

The Woodland Hills Whole Foods Market is supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley by donating five percent of sales made today (March 20) to the organization.

The money is specifically earmarked for the club's College Bound Program, which encourages middle and high school students and helps prepare them for college, according to club board chairman Gary Thomas.

"Participants are introduced to the process of choosing and applying to universities, as well as financial aid and scholarships," he said, adding the donated funds will help the club expand the program to additional San Fernando Valley schools.
