• YAPS Pet of the Week: Paloma (recordgazette.net) — If you’re looking to adopt locally, Paloma is a gentle, playful white/calico cat available now at Yucaipa Animal Placement Society on 13th Street. Rescued with her kittens, she loves feather toys, lap time, and soft purr-filled cuddles, and may do best as an only cat. Residents can apply online or visit the shelter Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
