• Storm floods High Desert roadways, prompts evacuation warnings (vvdailypress.com) — Northeast Yucaipa residents were under evacuation warnings on Christmas Eve as a powerful storm flooded High Desert roads and threatened mud and debris flows in nearby mountain communities. The same system shut down stretches of Highways 138, 18 and 2, backed up traffic on the 15 Freeway, and forced multiple water rescues across San Bernardino County.
