• Yucca Valley Resident Arrested for Attempted Murder Following Shooting at Local Party (crimevoice.com) — A Yucca Valley house party on Chipmunk Trail turned tragic Sunday night when an 18-year-old was shot and critically injured, and a 29-year-old local resident was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Sheriff’s investigators say the victim is not expected to survive and are asking anyone who saw or heard anything to contact detectives or the anonymous We-Tip hotline.
