1 Killed In Colorado Hit-And-Run

A Sunday morning hit-and-run left one person dead and another injured.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO-- A driver sped off early Sunday after hitting three pedestrians —one of whom died —on Stanton Road.

The incident, which was reported around 12:23 a.m. near Austin Bluffs Parkway, left one pedestrian dead and another with minor injuries. A third pedestrian was not injured, Colorado Springs Police Department said.

The suspect vehicle is a light colored full size truck. The truck has been located, police said.

The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Major Accident Unit responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
